Information Technology in Shipbuilding

The Russian science-convention "Information Technology in Shipbuilding" took place in Saint Petersburg, on the 19-06-2008.

The topics of the convention were:
  • Prospects of information technologies in shipbuilding, development and production
  • Several SAP solutions
  • Exchange of experience for security aspects
  • Usage of Information systems in shipbuilding

Lauer took part in the convention, giving a presentation on the subjects of innovations in navigation and automation in the shipbuilding area.

The topics of the Lauer convention were:
  1. New generation of displays:
    Widescreen Display, High Brightness Display, Display with LED background lighting
  2. Client USB
  3. Network Protocol TCP-IP
  4. Web Browser
